The Challenge vs. The Actual Solution
The Problem
A Product With Zero Repeat Customers
- From February to June, the client was selling skincare products (creams, scrubs, and serums) through direct sales campaigns on Meta, with a daily budget of 25-30 dollars. The result was catastrophic: only two sales over an entire month, and the cost per result reached 203 dollars in one campaign, and 183.5 dollars in another campaign — figures that were completely unsustainable.
The real diagnosis was not in the advertising, but in the product itself: tracking purchasing behaviour showed that any customer who tried the product did not return to buy it again — indicating a fundamental quality issue with the product, and any additional advertising spend would simply burn the budget with no possible return.
The Solution
Stop the Bleeding, Then Rebuild the Right Way
- Immediate cessation of sales campaigns on the line of the failed product, instead of continuing to spend in the hope that performance would improve.
- Complete product transformation: the client shifted to a line of artificial nails and accessories, with a dedicated landing page for this entirely new collection.
- Restructuring the pricing model: since the price per piece is around 80 dirhams (a profit margin insufficient to cover the cost of a direct sales campaign), we proposed a bundling strategy — grouping several pieces into one package worth up to 500 dirhams to raise the average order value (AOV) to a level that makes the advertisement economically viable.
- Reprioritising: Instead of repeating the same mistake of "direct selling without an audience", the strategy completely shifted to an Engagement-only campaign on Instagram with a budget of $10 per day — its sole aim is to build a real audience that knows the brand identity, before any attempt to sell again.

Real Organic Traction — And What Comes Next
- The current result: the Engagement campaign flipped the equation. The campaign achieved over 128,000 targeted impressions, and the posts began to attract genuine comments and inquiries about prices, with some posts reaching over 60 likes — a modest number in absolute terms, but a real qualitative leap compared to the zero actual engagement that existed on the old product entirely.
- Transparency Note: this project is still ongoing and we have not yet reached the stage of launching the new sales campaign for the packages — the next step is to launch a direct sales campaign on Meta targeting the 500 dirham packages, leveraging the warm audience that has been built.
- Testimonial: "The client came to us with a commercially failed product and campaigns costing $200 per operation. Instead of continuing to burn the budget, we stopped the bleeding, helped her transition to a viable product, and built a strategy of audience first before any sale — and the initial results have started to show."
